Pimms Afternoon 2024
5 August 2024Another fabulous event with some great tennis by the 40 players who entered last Friday. The weather was kind to us too! The winning lady was Anne-Marie Rotheram with the men’s being shared by James Dallow and Paul (apologies – surname unknown).
An amazing spread of sandwiches and fruit was laid on post-play, washed down nicely with a refreshing Pimms (or two!!).
Thanks to everyone who made this such a special afternoon plus a shout out to Sandra for her preserves and chutneys which raised over £150 for The Big Food Project and Helping Hearts Fylde. The book sale raised a further £25 for Helping Hearts Fylde and the raffle and clothes sale raised a whopping £211 which will enable Alison & Sara to pay for an extra suitcase to take donations to Feeding Dreams Cambodia in November.

Breast Cancer Tea & Cake Afternoon
Another amazing fundraising event held on Sunday 18th August in aid of Breast Cancer Care. The sun shone and some fantastic cakes were provided by the members. An enjoyable American tournament took place and £610 was raised. Well done everyone!
