Lytham Cup 2022
26 September 2022This past Sunday social, to commemorate the Laver Cup in London and Roger Federer’s retirement, we did our own version, the Lytham Cup.
It was a battle between Lytham and the Rest of the Fylde.
We had Team Captains Ed Sawer (Lytham) and Rachel Smith (Poulton), who organised the games to ensure competitive balanced games and an exciting competition. There were 4 rounds. Each round was worth 1 more point than the previous round.
We had 15 participants and an evenish split in players.
The final score was 25-23 to Lytham!
The prize-winning box of chocolates hasn’t been finished and will be brought to the next Sunday social to be shared by all.
Well done to all players!
